Upon successful completion of both your online and in-person body contouring training course you will be able to immediately start offering the body sculpting services for which you have received your certification.

Course entry requirements
Body sculpting trainees must meet the minimum entry requirements to register and complete this training programme.
For all contouring courses the trainee must hold a minimum of a level 3 in Anatomy and Physiology, Beauty, Massage or equivalent. If you are not sure you meet the entry requirements, please get in touch before booking your training course.

About our body sculpting courses​
​
As part of each body contouring training course you will first receive your online training modules which are to be completed prior to the in-person training day. Course material remains available to previous learners and can be used as reference documents after course completion.

Body contouring course timeframes​
You have up to 6 months to complete your online portion of the body sculpting training course. The online section must be completed fully before you can take part in the in-person training day.

The in-person body sculpting training days takes approximately:
​
Fat freezing: 4 hours
Ultrasound cavitation and radiofrequency: 3 hours
Fat freezing, ultrasound cavitation and radiofrequency: 8 hours (incl. 1 hour break)

In-person training courses can start in the morning or early afternoon. ​

Body contouring insurance in the UK
You do not need to be insured to take part of the training. Once you complete your certification and you start offering treatments you should always be insured for the body sculpting services you provide.
​
To qualify for insurance for body sculpting treatments you must complete in-person training either through a third-party training service such as ourselves, or through the manufacturer of the equipment used at your clinic.
At Fat Freezing Manchester our treatments are insured by Insync insurance. Other main UK insurance providers that cover body sculpting and beauty treatments include Policy Bee, and Salon Gold.
Where body contouring training courses and classes take place
Your in-person training section follows the online training and will take place at the Manchester clinic.

You will be able to bring a model, or the clinic can arrange for a model to come in for your training upon request. Your in-person training is always 1-2-1 so you can be ensured that you receive our full attention and support.

Training at your clinic
We can also travel to you. We offer body sculpting training at your clinic within the UK and Northern Ireland where you can provide the appropriate equipment and training space.

What can body sculpting treatments help to achieve?
The non-invasive body sculpting treatments that we offer and provide training in can be used to help clients achieve their body goals safely through a number of ways.

Fat freezing treatments
Fat freezing effectively and permanently reduces fat in targeted areas with specialist fat freezing applicators in just a single treatment. Fat freezing is the most effective non-surgical fat reduction treatment on the market. As fat freezing only requires 1 appointment to start seeing great results you can charge larger fees for singular sessions.

Ultrasound cavitation and radiofrequency treatments
Ultrasound cavitation with radiofrequency treatments can melt away cellulite, strengthen and tighten skin, reduce fat and improve the overall appearance of specific body areas. As a beautician you can mix and match these treatments and offer bespoke packages and treatment courses to your clients to help them reach their specific goals. For best results clients will want to opt for treatment courses where they return 6 times for the same treatment on the same area.

HI-EMT muscle stimulation
HI-EMT muscle stimulation treatments are amazing treatments for those that want a more defined shape. It can help to create a six-pack, a rounder and more muscular bum, as well as more muscular arms, thighs and calves. Like with ultrasound cavitation and RF, HI-EMT treatments are most effective when a course of treatments are completed. We recommend selling courses of treatments where 6 treatments are carried out over a period of 3 to 6 weeks. As a beautician you can create and offer package offers mixing and matching ultrasound cavitation and RF with HI-EMT. Combining these treatments is safe and can improve the clients' results and your revenue per client.

Direct costs of these treatments are minimal. Your only direct costs are electricity and consumables. For fat freezing this is up to £3 per applicator and for ultrasound cavitation and RF you pay for gel and oil which are sold for £2 to £8 per bottle and can last you quite some time. With HI-EMT you require no consumables and all you need is couch roll and cleaning spray.

Cons of providing non-surgical body contouring treatments

Your set-up costs are high because you will have to purchase good quality machines. You may be able to pay for equipment outright or you may want to opt for rentals, payment plans or business loans. You may also choose a business start-up loan or business expansion loan.

Depending on the size of the machines you choose it may be difficult to run a mobile clinic. If you do want to run a mobile clinic it is important you keep that in mind when you purchase your machines as some may be difficult to move about.

Individual courses
Earning potential of body sculpting treatments
The earning potential of body sculpting treatments can differ greatly depending on the type of treatments you offer, the quality of the equipment you use and the location you are in.

At our clinic we are fully transparent about our fees of individual services and treatment packages.
​
For ultrasound cavitation and radiofrequency clinics charge between £50 and £250 per individual treatment. Fat freezing treatment fees are calculated by the amount of applicators used, with maximum pricing ranging between £400 to £2,500 per treatment. Minimum treatment fees range from £45 to £500, with our fees starting at £90 for 1 chin applicator treatment. HI-EMT treatment fees range between £45 and £350 per treatment.

Remember, with ultrasound cavitation, radiofrequency and HI-EMT you can also sell packages that you can request to be paid up-front.
​
Direct costs related to non-invasive body treatments are low and range from approximately up to 50 pence for ultrasound cavitation and HI-EMT treatment to up to a maximum of £24 for fat freezing treatment. Consumables for these treatments can be stored long term and do not require specific refrigeration.
Body sculpting training course terms and conditions
To start training with Fat Freezing Manchester you need to register for your chosen course. You start by contacting us through the contact form specifying the course for which to book. We will then email you to confirm dates and availability of the in-person training dates and once agreed we will send you through the payment link.

Once payment has been received you will be given access to the online learning training portal. The online training module must be completed in full prior to the in-person training day.
​
Course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Training dates can be rescheduled up to 48 hours prior to the training day.
Once the training day is completed you will immediately be presented with your certificate of completion so you can immediately begin offering the service.
​
In-person single treatment courses take approximately 4 hours and multi-treatment courses take up to 7 hours to complete. The clinic is open 6 days a week and closed on Fridays. Where there is availability training dates can be booked for all days except for Fridays with both morning and afternoon start-times available.
