Details of information which we collect and hold

As a client of Fat Freezing Manchester you will need to provide us with some personal information, including contact details for appointments, your date of birth, gender, information on medical conditions which are relevant to the treatment, history of treatments with us and other providers of fat reduction services and your measurements.

We keep a record of these details so we can provide you with the best support throughout your fat reduction process. All personal details we collect are held in a secure management system, password protected and only accessible  by those who provide treatment. We only collect and hold information that is necessary for the best and safest execution of our services and treatments. For legal purposes we hold a copy of treatment details of previous clients in archived format for a period of five years.

We do not hold any payment details on our records.

We use your contact details to communicate important details regarding your appointments, including to confirm bookings, to remind you of your appointment, to inform you of cancellations or if an appointment needs to be rescheduled. Unless you have specified a different preference, or if its a matter of urgency we will contact you by email first. After your appointment we will contact you once with links to pages where we collect reviews, in case you would like to review the service you have received. This email will also contain information on after care. During your appointment we may discuss sending you additional resources. If we mutually agree to this during your appointment we will send you this in a separate email within 72 hours after your appointment.

Data for marketing purposes is held separately in our secure email marketing platform. We hold contact details only for those who have opted in to marketing communications through our websites, external booking sites or during your appointment at our clinic. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time. This will not impact your ability to book with us or continue your treatment. Opting out of marketing communications will not stop you from receiving appointment information.

Each email contains an unsubscribe link, you can alternatively respond to the email to ask to be unsubscribed or you can contact us through the contact form on this website or by sending your unsubscribe request to sophie@fat-freezing-manchester.co.uk. We aim to only share news, offers and other information that is relevant to the recipients. Contact details for marketing purposes will be kept up until the time the recipient either unsubscribes or becomes inactive for a period of more than 18 months.

We do not share any of your details with third parties, unless there is a legal requirement for us to do so. We never sell or lease our data. All your data is managed in the UK. Our website, booking system and database are managed in-house. This means no third parties such as external marketing or administrative support companies have access to your data.

If you wish to know exactly what data we have on file for you, you can request this in writing to sophie@fat-freezing-manchester.co.uk. We will respond in writing within 14 days.
