Your in-person fat freezing learning and practice session follows the online training and will take place at the Manchester clinic (unless you have arranged for training at your clinic). You will be able to bring a model, or the clinic can arrange for a model to come in for your training if you have requested this in advance.

1-2-1 training

Your in-person training is always 1-2-1 unless you request a group training for yourself and colleagues.

This means that course dates are flexible and can be arranged as soon as your registration is completed. If you wish for the clinic to arrange for a model instead of bringing your own then you need to book your in-person course day at least 7 days in advance. We can offer morning, afternoon and weekend training days.

The in-person training day for the fat freezing course takes approximately 4 hours. Where students require extra time on their course day in order to successfully complete training we will accommodate.

Pros and cons of providing fat freezing treatment at your clinic

The non-invasive body sculpting treatments that we teach can be used to help clients achieve their body goals safely through a number of ways.

Fat freezing treatments

Fat freezing effectively and permanently reduces fat in targeted areas with specialist fat freezing applicators. Fat freezing is the most effective non-surgical fat reduction treatment on the market.

Pros of providing fat freezing
  • Large areas and a larger number of areas can be treated in 1 appointment. For the client this means they only need 1 appointment to treat all their problem areas and for the clinic it means more revenue per client (we charge up to £510 for 1 appointment)

  • Only 1 appointment is needed to see great results. This means clients come back for more work on the same area or on other areas and are more likely to leave you a good review and refer their friends and family.

  • As no injectables are used you don't have to worry about allergies, subscribing, storing, best before dates, etc.

  • There are almost no risks with this treatment for the client

  • Incoming legislation in the beauty industry does not cover fat freezing. With our certification and insurance you are free to practice

  • There may be exceptions to this, but in local councils we worked within there are no requirements to register yourself or your clinic at the local authority

  • Per treatment your only direct costs are the antifreeze membranes which cost between £1 and £3 per membrane, cleaning spray and couch roll

  • Even though the treatment is becoming more and more popular, there is still relatively little competition

Cons of providing fat freezing
  • Your set-up costs are high because you will have to purchase a good quality machine. Prices start as approximately £2,000 and can range upwards to over £60,000

  • Depending on the size of the machine you choose it may be difficult to run a mobile clinic.

  • Like with other body contouring treatments there are seasonality trends with high and low seasons

  • Some of your clients will be concerned about paradoxical adipose hyperplasia, which is an extremely rare result of fat freezing. At our clinic we have never experienced a case of PAH and no such cases have ever been reported with the equipment we use.

Fat freezing earning potential

Your fat freezing earning potential will depend largely on the quality of the equipment you choose, the quality of service you provide and the location you are in.

Different treatment providers will adapt different pricing strategies which can vary greatly. Different clinic prices for fat freezing can range between £45 to over £500 for a single area treatment. Maximum treatment fees (this calculation is based on 8 applicators in 1 treatment) can range from anywhere between £400 and £2,500.

Time and costs

Appointments take between 1 and 3 hours with limited set-up and clean-up time required, meaning you can fit up to 7 treatments into a single day per beautician and machine.

As the direct costs related to fat freezing treatment are low, ranging between £3 and £24 a treatment, your earning potential from fat freezing is significant.

During our training course we will offer you advice and tips on how to set your pricing, keeping in mind your unique factors including location and equipment.
