Fat freezing thighs for fat reduction

Fat freezing thighs

Non-surgical thigh fat reduction with fat freezing

Thigh fat can be terribly stubborn, and even with regular exercise and a healthy diet thigh fat can be difficult to reduce.

Unwanted thigh fat can appear on a number of areas such as the inner, the outer and the back of the thighs. Unwanted fat can also appear on the inside or outside of the knee and right above the knee.

With fat reduction treatments such as fat freezing localised thigh fat can be targeted and reduced.

At Fat Freezing Manchester we offer a number of thigh fat and cellulite reduction treatments that can help shape and smoothen the fat around the thigh area.

Benefits of fat freezing for thigh fat reduction

Fat freezing (also known as cryolipolysis) can help to achieve permanent results, as the amount fat cells in the targeted area are reduced.

Fat freezing is the most established fat reduction treatment on the market. The treatment has been researched thoroughly for many years and has been approved for use across the world. Side effects and risks of side effects are well known and results of treatments have been comprehensively documented.

There are only a small number of contra-indications (health conditions that exclude you from treatment) related to fat freezing. Anyone over the age of 18 that doesn't suffer from serious health conditions and isn't pregnant or breastfeeding is eligible for fat freezing on the thighs and other areas of the body.

Number of thigh treatments

With each fat freezing treatment a person can see a significant fat reduction on the treatment area. Often where the fat is thicker multiple treatments will be required. Often fat on the outer thighs is thicker and requires multiple treatments, while fat on the inner thighs is much looser and may require only a single treatment to achieve a person's goals.

Who thigh fat freezing treatment is best for

Thigh fat freezing treatment is best for those that have stubborn pockets of fat but are otherwise in good shape and live healthily. Fat freezing reduces these pockets of fat effectively, but can not cause overall weight loss. Where weight is gained results can be less obvious or may not show at all.

There isn't a specific BMI, weight or size a person has to be to be eligible for fat freezing. However, a person should be either already following a healthy lifestyle or be willing to make healthy lifestyle changes.

Thigh fat, especially on the back and outer side of the thighs can be incredibly stubborn, and multiple fat freezing treatments are likely required to slim down the thighs and to reach your individual body sculpting goals.

Eligibility

Most people are eligible for fat freezing treatments as long as they are over the age of 18 and in general good health.

Conditions that can exclude a person from being able to have treatment include conditions to the liver, kidneys, heart, lungs and immune system. Any conditions which cause a sensitivity to cold will also exclude you from treatment. Hyper and hypotension and being on blood thinners and having uncontrolled diabetes are more common contra-indications.

If you have had surgery, been pregnant or experienced other trauma to the body then you should wait at least 6 months as this will allow the body to heal.

If you are not sure if your health will allow you to have fat freezing you can contact us my email or phone for tailored advice. Where we are unsure we will redirect you to your GP or specialist for their expert guidance. Health always comes before beauty and where there is a risk we will not perform treatment.

Fat removal thighs

What areas of the thighs can be reduced with fat freezing

Every person's shape is unique and so are their goals. We can fully customise treatments to help you work towards your goals and help you to achieve the sculpted body you are after.

Common areas where we target stubborn fat are the hips where the fat "sticks out", the area directly under the buttocks and the inner thighs where the fat is often looser and can cause chafing and show more visible cellulite.

Does thigh fat freezing help with cellulite

Yes, when we fat freeze the thighs then we can help to reduce cellulite as well as fat.

Cellulite is caused by enlarged fat cells pushing outwards while connective fibres pull the skin tightly down. As fat freezing reduces the amount of fat cells in the area it reduces the pressure and thereby the appearance of cellulite.

Cellulite can further be reduced with our ultrasound cavitation with RF cellulite treatments. With targeted ultrasound and radiofrequency we reduce the size of the fat cells, improve collagen production in the skin and increase the elasticity in the connective fibres causing the skin to be pulled down.

Alternative thigh fat reduction treatments

As mentioned above, we also offer ultrasound cavitation with RF treatments. These treatments help to:

  • Reduce the size of fat cells by releasing fat from the cells (instead of reducing the number of fat cells)

  • Improve the skin and the structure of the skin by stimulating collagen and elastin production

  • Improve the appearance of cellulite by increasing the strength and elasticity of the fibrous bonds causing the appearance of cellulite even where there isn't much fat

  • Stimulate lymphatic drainage and blood circulation

The ultrasound with RF treatment has many benefits, but as it does not reduce the amount of fat cells it does not cause permanent fat loss where there are stubborn areas of fat.

Where a single treatment of fat freezing can achieve significant fat reduction, the ultrasound cavitation with RF treatment should be carried out a number of times. We offer single treatments and package deals for 6 consecutive treatments. We recommend a minimum of 6 treatments spaced approximately 1 week apart.

Fat freezing and the ultrasound treatment can be combined but should take place at least 3 days apart from each other.

Fat freezing reviews

"I did a lot of research prior to going for fat freezing and was soon reassured that I was in excellent hands. Not only is Sophie extremely lovely and professional but she's also very passionate about what she does. She explained the process in detail along with other options to help combat my fat and cellulite. I decided to go ahead with fat freezing followed by a 6 week course of ultrasound and radiofrequency. I had 4 single fat freeze applications. 1 on my lower and upper stomach and 1 on the back and side of each of my legs. There's been visible results of fat reduction and reduced cellulite appearance. The fat freezing treatment itself was bearable and completely forgotten by the time the applicators came off. The ultrasound and radiofrequency was actually really relaxing. Il be going back for a further fat freeze application on each side of my legs and look forward to seeing the next lot of results. Overall I'm feeling happier in myself and I would highly recommend Fat freezing Manchester."

How to book thigh fat freezing

You can book all our fat freezing treatments online, by phone or email. We will ask you for a £40 deposit to confirm your appointment, with the remainder of the cost due at the day of treatment.

For thigh fat freezing you will need a minimum of 2 applicators (one on each side). You can opt for 2, 4, 6 or 8 applicators, depending on the amount of thigh fat you wish to treat. If you are not sure about the number of applicators then you can either contact us before booking or you can book the higher number of applicators. You can then always reduce the number of applicators at the time of your treatment.
